New Painting for Maui Gallery

"Walk on the Beach", 9x12, new oil painting shipping to the Lahaina Galleries, Maui. This was a "plein air" painting completed on the island of Maui about a month ago. This week I am giving my small paintings a break as I just finished the Sketchcrawl event and need to start larger works.

The Sketchcrawl event was a great time. Hundreads of people around the world took part in this drawing/sketching time. "Tropical Jewels" 4x4 oil study

This 4x4 oil study, "Tropical Jewels" is a limited brush work painting to show the essence of the tropics; palms and light. Although the painting appears to have browns, it does not, only red, green, orange/yellow and white were used.
